Its organic, water-like soundscapes evolve slowly, as textures and rhythms react to one another the way things do in nature, building to moments of release and renewal. Reissued on vinyl in 2023.
I’ve been fascinated by JakoJako ever since I first saw her play at Berghain, completely absorbed in her music and the details she builds around it. What I love about her work is this rare combination of raw, driving energy and a deeply sensitive, almost intimate approach to sound.
