Voices From The Lake (2023 Edition)
Voices From The Lake, the self-titled album by Donato Dozzy and Neel, asks for time and patience and rewards both. Its organic, water-like soundscapes evolve slowly, as textures and rhythms react to one another the way things do in nature, building to moments of release and renewal. Reissued on vinyl in 2023.
JakoJako - Verve EP
I’ve been fascinated by JakoJako ever since I first saw her play at Berghain, completely absorbed in her music and the details she builds around it. What I love about her work is this rare combination of raw, driving energy and a deeply sensitive, almost intimate approach to sound.
Modeselektor – DJ-Kicks
Modeselektor - DJ Kicks
Only a few mixes have stayed with me as long as this one: vivid, unpredictable, and constantly engaging. Modeselektor's DJ-Kicks blends techno, dubstep, dancehall and avant-pop into a dynamic, bass-heavy mix full of surprising contrasts and transitions.
Jacques Bon – A Long Way
Review #42: A Long Way performed by Jacques Bon and produced by Vincent Drux was released in 2022 under the renowned label Smallville Records.
